Overall, looking back on the book ‘A Pattern Language’ that I used within this project was extremely useful and interesting. The value it brought me within decision making and finding different perspectives to analyse or design certain aspects of the building or within the area around the ‘Lijnbaanflats’ was enormous. Furthermore, looking back on the project I found this topic very interesting as in the future I definitely believe rooftops will become a populair  architectural aspect as the world is becoming more crowded. At first there were some difficulties on how to get started but I started analysing on sight by taking pictures, creating sketches and various other designs. These ideas and designs led me to my final design and maquette. Overall, I am very pleased with the outcome of this rooftop project and learned a lot about topics within architecture as well as architectural perspectives due to the book I used for the project as well as by doing all the research gathered for this project, which all led me to expanding my knowledge as a spatial design student.
